Mueller Hinton Broth is used for the cultivation of a wide variety of fastidious and nonfastidious microorganisms. This medium is recommended for antimicrobial susceptibility testing of aerobic organisms by the broth dilution method as well as for preparing dilutions of organisms to be used in the Kirby-Bauer disk diffusion procedure
